Which services can i use directly?
The short answer is: Anything that runs in a browser and/or is hosted overseas. This includes Radixx Res!, Radixx Go!, Insight, WebMail, CMS, SMS, EditMyTime, Online Banking, WindCave. Running these direclty from your home office is a great deal faster and efficient than doing this via Remote Desktop. Exceptipon: you need to upload files that are on a network drive and you don't have access to these at home. The new Citrix gateway for Radixx does not require a Citrix Client when run in a recent version of Chrome.

Which services do i need to use Remote Desktop for?
Locally Hosted Apps : The short answer is: Apps that are run from the desktop without a browser and/or requiring local access. This includes MS office Documents (migrate them to Google Docs and Sheets!), Attache, Most Engineering Documentations, AvTrak, JAWS. Contact Marcus if you need access to your PC or a Virtual Appliance if Terminal Server won't do.

Your safety is important
Please stay at home as much as possible and look after you loved ones or have them look after you. Keep your elders away from potential carriers!. Team Communication

3CX Extensions and conferencing
Our Phone system 3CX is well suited for Homeoffice. Extensions can be used on any recent Android and Apple device by looking for and installing the 3CX app then giving the app access to Microphone, Speaker, notifications and Camera - all for are required when asked for. Extensions can also be used as Chrome Browser extension on any computer that supports recent versions of Chrome. The latter I only receommend for power users as things can quickly become messy with the browser and the smart phone ringing at the same time. 3CX Web Client can be used to provision your phone using a 2D barcode or i can do it for you or send you the provisioning barcode. Just ask.

What are we doing to support social distancing?
As Alert levels are stepped up we are working to support government guidance around social distancing by minimising our on site staffing and spacing out our staff. We therefore ask you to rethink your need to personally visit our call center. We are setting up remote working capabilities in an effort to keep our call center and email presence to serve our customers.
